Volver a ti (Return to yourself) is part of the series Women: Absences and Presences, a pictorial investigation into the female body as a territory of memory, vulnerability, and transformation. The figure, nude and depicted from behind, lacks a defined face to transcend individual identity and become a universal presence. The hands resting on the back evoke a gesture of containment, as if the body were gathering the fragments of its own history. The warm color palette creates an atmosphere of calm and rebirth, while an ethereal form, between bird, flower, and light, suggests the possibility of liberation and a new beginning. The work reflects on the capacity to reconstruct oneself from fragility and find in it a silent strength, reminding us that beauty can also emerge from what once broke us.
