Towards Us, Towards the World is a work born of affection, of being a woman, and of the way we share our identity with our surroundings. It brings together graphite —an element the artist constantly uses due to its direct connection with drawing— and color, which here becomes a visual metaphor for feminine softness and strength.
The mixed media technique allows for a richness of textures and emotions: the intimate stroke of the pencil coexists with the chromatic vibration of paint, in a composition that expresses dedication, sensitivity, and presence.
This work represents the act of looking inward and projecting outward, towards others and towards the world, recognizing the transformative power of affection and authenticity.
